By joining our network, you can make a positive impact on the lives of young people in Hume and Whittlesea.

Representatives from local industry, education, training and community service agencies are encouraged to become members of the Hume Whittlesea LLEN and/or signatories of one of our Youth Commitments: Hume Youth Commitment and/or Whittlesea Youth Commitment.

 

The HWLLEN Strategic Intent will provide further information about our organisation’s Vision, Mission, Values and Objectives.

 

Our Governance Structure will explain how the HWLLEN operates particularly in relation to the Hume and Whittlesea Youth Commitments.

 

All applications for membership are considered by the HWLLEN in line with the requirements of the HWLLEN Rules of Association.

Hume Whittlesea LLEN Membership

As a member of the HWLLEN, you are eligible to apply for a position on the HWLLEN Board giving you the opportunity to drive the strategic vision of the organisation. Members can also nominate and vote for Board members at the Annual General Meeting.

Hume Youth Commitment Signatory

 

The Hume Youth Commitment (HYC) is a partnership of schools, industry, education and community providers committed to providing all young people with the opportunity and support to complete Year 12 or its equivalent; and to implement strategies that promote seamless transitions throughout their schooling and into further education or employment.

 

Becoming a partner of the HYC is free and is open to all who are willing to work together as a community to enhance the well-being, learning, training and work opportunities of its young people.

 

All those who sign up to the Spirit of Co-operation Agreement become partners of the HYC for 3 years and entitles you to:

  • Information and resource sharing

  • Partnership development opportunities with other members

  • Opportunities to promote your activities through the HYC and Tangible Connections networks

  • Input into the decision–making processes of HYC

Whittlesea Youth Commitment Signatory

 

The Whittlesea Youth Commitment (WYC) is a long-term community-based initiative that is committed to ensuring that every young person in the City of Whittlesea has access and support to complete either year 12 or its equivalent in accredited training, and is linked to employment.

 

Becoming a partner of the WYC is free and is open to all who are willing to work together as a community to enhance the well-being, learning, training and work opportunities of its young people.

  • Partnership development opportunities with other members
